High Chroma founder and designer Emily Ibarra was born and raised in Los Angeles, offering her access to boundless sources of inspiration in the worlds of music, visual arts, writing, and design from an early age.
After spending a decade working in live music, event production and artist management, the industry she had been immersed in for so long suddenly shut down with the onslaught of COVID. This jolt catapulted her into a reinvigorated sense of creative exploration, and from there High Chroma Design was born.
Emily has a passion for postmodern architecture, vintage furniture of many eras and iterations, and bold interior design. Her deep love for Italian Modernism, bold colors and textures, and playful interiors drives her design projects and furniture sourcing adventures. High Chroma Design is Emily’s vessel for sharing her love of color and design ingenuity with clients who aren’t afraid to take risks and have fun with their spaces.
